Sift is a client-side IMAP processing utility, written in Perl, which allows you to create rules and actions working against remote messages. The tool is new but seems to work nicely. the mercurial repository has more details.

There was a new release of my chronicle blog compiler, which adds a spooler for auto-posting pre-written entries on a schedule.

The new tool RSSGen, used to generate this update feed, has been released.
